Cherith Farm Fresh is a pig farming family business that is registered with the relevant authorities in Zambia. The business will be established in Mpongwe, copperbelt, Zambia. The pig farming business will be situated in one of our landed properties in Mpongwe. It is a very huge piece of land where we can rear our pigs and piglets, and also be able to install our processing plant. The business will be concerned with the rearing of pigs and piglets, and also the processing and packaging of pig meat (pork).

The main of my business is to provide electronic gadgets such as phones, laptops and gaming consoles on the Copperbelt and Zambia at large. This is because there are very few businesses that provide these gadgets on the Copperbelt hence most people travel to Lusaka to buy them. I have been working as a middle man for Alvin Games and Electronics located in Lusaka. I usually get a lot clients who need laptops and gaming consoles but its hard to do business as the clients don’t get to see and test these items. Not only that but clients have to send money to the store and wait for their package to be sent from Lusaka hence there is a bit of trust issues. Looking at that current situation I decide to start my own business where I can provide laptops, phones and gaming consoles on the Copperbelt. I recently opened up an eBay account so that I can just be ordering these gadgets from especially gaming consoles which are on high demand. The PlayStation 4 gaming console costs about k5345.06 and shipping from United Kingdom to Chingola, Zambia is k1405 giving a total cost of k6750.06. These gaming consoles come with a minimum of 10 gaming discs, 2 controllers, HDMI cable and power cable. They are later sold at k6000-k6500 that’s for the gaming console with one controller only and one disc, HDMI cable and power cable. The remaining 9 gaming discs are sold at a minimum of k350-k450 each and the other controller at k650-k750. From the above example, this business is a very good and profitable investment.
