Earlier this year we launched a project called Project hybrid village chicken. Basically the project aim is to keep hybrid village chicken for eggs, incubation as well as for sell to other small scale to medium sized farmers . The project started with about 500 chicken which are now 6 months two weeks. The overall objective of this project is to keep about 2000 or more hybrid village chicken because our current chicken house has the capacity to do so as well be able to hatch our own eggs and later sell them to various markets . The rationale for this project is that it can create employment for various young people as well as improve their nutritions level. The overall objectives for project hybrid village chicken is to have one of the largest chicken farm, which is self sufficient and able to hatch it own ends. Therefore our budget line is k45,000of which k20,000 will be used to source for more hybrid village chickens, buy feed and vaccinations and the remaining amount will be used to source for incubators. This is a very workable project as we have already started with a small number looking at the resources but our dream is to expand the project with enough resources

The tomato farm will be on a 1 hectares’ piece of land and will be able to cultivate tomatoes throughout the year on a commercial scale. What makes us unique is the stream that runs near by the farm and by this we will be able to ensure that our tomatoes are efficiently watered and healthy, thereby allowing us to focus on supply chain and market domination in the region and price control. Consumers will no longer be forced to travel kilometres in search of tomatoes anymore. We will be working with local super markets and chain stores in the region together with marketers in the markets. We will ensure that we buy the necessary machinery and tools for the farm and our team will be well trained to manage the farm and provide a good service to the customers.
